We were alerted to a deceased cat that was found at the bottom of Chatham Hill in Chatham this morning. Our animal welfare officer Janet attended and checked for a chip. Unfortunately the cat wasn’t chipped.
The cat is male, not neutered, black all over and looks approximately 5+ years old. He had feral type fur and very short claws which indicate he’s been an outdoor cat.
He is safe with us at ALFIK and we will continue to search for his owners.
