We received a private message from a lovely man who had come across a deceased cat in his father’s back garden. The cat was initially found this morning by his elderly father but he was unable to do anything to help.
When the young man came home he contacted us after picking the cat up and wrapping the cat up in a towel. He was very upset about the cats passing. We attended as soon as we could to check for a chip.
Unfortunately the cat wasn’t chipped and wasn’t wearing a collar. The cat is male, short-haired, neutered, mainly black with a white neck, chest and four white socks. He looks like an elderly cat and was quite thin, presuming he has had a kidney or thyroid issue. The young man believes the owner may live on All Saints Road behind Tonge Road in Sittingbourne.
We have brought the cat back to HQ and will continue to search for his owners.
