15 Year old cat found over 12 miles from home – missing for 2 months

We received a report on our facebook group about a cat that was found in Gillingham on Christmas Street by a lovely family. We approved the post and offered a chip check.

When we attended the scanner beeped and it seemed as if the details on the chip were out of date as the chip was registered to an address in Aylesford. The cat was called Ben and he is 15 years old. Both numbers weren’t working on the chip so we thought we would bring him back to HQ to continue searching and digging to find his owners.

Suddenly a lady got in touch with the same second name that was on the chip saying that he is her cat called Ben. After checking out the finer details, he was her cat and she still lived at the address. Ben had gone missing at the beginning of November.

Heaven knows how he got to Gillingham but he has been a pickle in the past and got into vehicles.

Cat found Kent,

Ben has now been collected by his mum and dad and now has a full tummy. Thank you so much to Lisa Milbourne and her family for looking after this baby and trusting us to take care of him.

Stay safe gorgeous boy!
