We received a call from one of our long standing group members Maria this afternoon. She saw a dog running down the road on Church Street towards the Strand in Gillingham and described the dog as a tiny Yorkshire terrier.
We left immediately to help locate the dog. Luckily a man had stopped and picked up the dog just as Maria got there. We were there shortly after. We checked her for a chip and her name was Blossom, a 10 year old teacup yorkie. Such a sweet girl.
We rang her owners and they left to come and collect her. She has not long had an operation and still has stitches on her tummy.
Thank you Maria for your help. Be safe little darlin.
